this book took me forever to finish because I did NOT wanna say goodbye to the Kings。 I loved Gannon & Paige’s book, but Cat and Noah definitely win this duology with the romance。 (also I’m a sucker for the single dad trope) LOVED THIS BOOK!!

4 stars out of 5!This was a great enemies to lovers book with a Christmas feel splashed in。 I finished book 1 in the series before this one and I really enjoyed this one much better。 I adored Cat in the first book and this book really let her character shine。 Noah, the other main character, is also one of my favorites。 He's a little bit grumpy and likes to say no a lot but by the end of the book his character really comes together。 The small town feel really elevated the book and I love that it 4 stars out of 5!This was a great enemies to lovers book with a Christmas feel splashed in。 I finished book 1 in the series before this one and I really enjoyed this one much better。 I adored Cat in the first book and this book really let her character shine。 Noah, the other main character, is also one of my favorites。 He's a little bit grumpy and likes to say no a lot but by the end of the book his character really comes together。 The small town feel really elevated the book and I love that it took place leading up to Christmas。 It gave all the feels! In the Christmas Fix, the town of Merry is devastated by a flood caused by a hurricane that swept thru the town。 A couple years prior, Cat did a reno on a home for a sweet family in that same town。 She goes to Merry to assess the damage and finds it in bad shape, including the house she just did the reno for。 She convinces the TV network to do a Christmas special on rebuilding the town but Noah, the towns manager, wants nothing to do with the TV cameras and the network coming to help。 Eventually he gives in and Cat and her crew come to try and make magic happen。 They need to rebuild the town in time for their annual Christmas festival that everyone is looking forward too。Lucy Score is one of my favorite authors and she really nailed this book。 I'm looking forward to what she has in store for us next!Thank you Netgalley and SOURCEBOOKS Bloom Books for this ARC in exchange for my honest review。 。。。more

Need a Hallmark worthy Christmas book with the perfect amount of spice and incredibly likable characters? This book is for you。 My only regret is not reading Mr。 Fixer Upper first。 Gosh, Noah is such a hot nerd, probably one of my favorite book boyfriends。 And I loved in the end, when he found out about LA, he didn’t turn it against Cat。 While they didn’t always communicate, there was no miscommunication。 Definitely glad to start my Christmas reads with this one this year!

“you’re the color in a gray day"•well, it happened: I found a Lucy Score book I didn’t wholeheartedly love。 I need to make it very clear, this is not a bad book。 it’s sexy, and warm, and funny, and it has wonderful characters! but it just didn’t do it for me。 in general, I’m not the biggest fan of holiday books, so perhaps I was already subconsciously reading it with that mentality。the biggest challenge for me was I just never felt the chemistry between Cat and Noah。 she’s a reality TV home desi “you’re the color in a gray day"•well, it happened: I found a Lucy Score book I didn’t wholeheartedly love。 I need to make it very clear, this is not a bad book。 it’s sexy, and warm, and funny, and it has wonderful characters! but it just didn’t do it for me。 in general, I’m not the biggest fan of holiday books, so perhaps I was already subconsciously reading it with that mentality。the biggest challenge for me was I just never felt the chemistry between Cat and Noah。 she’s a reality TV home designer with a huge personality set on saving Christmas for Noah’s town that was recently struck by a natural disaster。 he’s a stick-in-the-mud city manager that wants nothing to do with her fake interest and the media circus that follows her。 he despises her and everything she represents without question, and he’s quite clear about his disapproval of her。 naturally, he warms up to her, but I felt like it was such a dramatic shift in his opinion, and I never felt their actual connection。 my interest picked up a lot more in the last quarter of the book when the problem shifted from hating each other to figuring out how to work together and what their future might look like。 I genuinely believe this is the type of holiday romance many people will absolutely love, and I fully support that! if you’re a romance reader, and you want a seasonal holiday read, try this one。 just because it simply wasn’t my favorite doesn’t mean it won’t be yours! • read if you like:♡ boss women♡ entrepreneur♡ family business♡ home renovation shows ♡ holiday season♡ “just having fun” relationship ♡ opposites attract ♡ single dad♡ small town♡ snowball fightstrigger warnings:☞ child abuse / neglect ☞ natural disasters ☞ sexual harassment •thank you to Bloom Books for sending me a digital copy of this book for review! 。。。more

Kinda sounds like Maggie Moves On which I read from this author, and hated, but I’m willing to give Lucy another chance。

Cute, but I have a high bar for Lucy Score and this one didn’t quite make it。 Enemies to lovers holiday romance set in the small town of Merry。 The spice was good but I never fell into the story as much as I normally do with Score’s books。 Overall it felt slow, but it was enjoyable overall if you’re looking for a fluffy holiday read。

This was a fun and quick holiday romance from Lucy Score。 It is probably best read after Mr。 Fixer Upper since the universes overlap。 Read if you enjoy: - Enemies to lovers - Small town romance - Single dad romance Cat King is a celebrity home renovator who has returned to Merry, Connecticut after a late season hurricane destroys the town making their annual Christmas Festival unable to go on。 Cat has history with the town so returns after the storm to help rebuild and shoot a Christmas specia This was a fun and quick holiday romance from Lucy Score。 It is probably best read after Mr。 Fixer Upper since the universes overlap。 Read if you enjoy: - Enemies to lovers - Small town romance - Single dad romance Cat King is a celebrity home renovator who has returned to Merry, Connecticut after a late season hurricane destroys the town making their annual Christmas Festival unable to go on。 Cat has history with the town so returns after the storm to help rebuild and shoot a Christmas special。 Too bad grumpy town manager Noah Yates is dead set on keeping Cat and her crew out, worried they’ll exploit his grieving neighbors。 When Cat’s budget and promises convince Noah to give her a shot, he starts to realize she isn’t who he first thought she was。 They start to warm up to each other and then things really heat up! The Christmas Fix was a great, kind of spicy, sweet slow burn holiday romance。 I loved all the characters。 Catalina (aka Cat) and Noah are so cute together and funny。 Noah and , his daughter, Sara are so sweet。 Cat is tough, but so kind and caring。 It was definitely worth the read this holiday season and maybe worth a re-read next holiday season。

I LOVED this enemy to lovers, small town, spicy Christmas story。 It’s an Amazing, warm, sexy story to start the holidays without all the cheesiness。 Merry, a small town in Connecticut, is going through a flooding disaster。 A TV star, Catalina “Cat” King, wants to help rebuild Merry, but the town city manager, Noah Yates, doesn’t want her help。 Cat doesn’t take no for an answer。 Cat is a strong, bad ass heroine, and Noah is known as ‘Mr。 No’, but is a great single father。 The Christmas Fix by Luc I LOVED this enemy to lovers, small town, spicy Christmas story。 It’s an Amazing, warm, sexy story to start the holidays without all the cheesiness。 Merry, a small town in Connecticut, is going through a flooding disaster。 A TV star, Catalina “Cat” King, wants to help rebuild Merry, but the town city manager, Noah Yates, doesn’t want her help。 Cat doesn’t take no for an answer。 Cat is a strong, bad ass heroine, and Noah is known as ‘Mr。 No’, but is a great single father。 The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score will most likely be my Favorite Holiday Read this year! So for not realizing this was the second book in the series it was still amazing。 Cat the main female is strong, stubborn and independent。 Noah the male lead is just as stubborn but once he realizing who cat really is and they sp3nd more time together they become amazing。 Also love how the whole film crew in the story is so close。 The ending was perfect then lucy score gives us not one but two epilogue。 I can't wait to read the first story now especially after reading a bit about Paige and Gannon So for not realizing this was the second book in the series it was still amazing。 Cat the main female is strong, stubborn and independent。 Noah the male lead is just as stubborn but once he realizing who cat really is and they sp3nd more time together they become amazing。 Also love how the whole film crew in the story is so close。 The ending was perfect then lucy score gives us not one but two epilogue。 I can't wait to read the first story now especially after reading a bit about Paige and Gannon and every one else in this story。 。。。more

I loved The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score。 It's a perfect holiday romance with just the right amount of banter, tension, and steam。 Cat King may be a famous home renovation reality tv star, but she uses her fame for good--no matter what the grumpy town mayor (who just happens to be a hot single dad) might think。 He knows she's the town's best bet to save Christmas, but he doesn't trust her or her motives。 I adored this enemies to lovers, small town romance。 If you're looking for a Hallmark-movie-e I loved The Christmas Fix by Lucy Score。 It's a perfect holiday romance with just the right amount of banter, tension, and steam。 Cat King may be a famous home renovation reality tv star, but she uses her fame for good--no matter what the grumpy town mayor (who just happens to be a hot single dad) might think。 He knows she's the town's best bet to save Christmas, but he doesn't trust her or her motives。 I adored this enemies to lovers, small town romance。 If you're looking for a Hallmark-movie-esque plot but with more *ahem* adult content, definitely add this one to your holiday reading list。 Also--the daughter? Title: The Christmas Fix Introduction As the holiday season approaches, many of us eagerly anticipate the joy and warmth that Christmas brings。 The twinkling lights, the scent of freshly baked cookies, and the laughter of loved ones create a magical atmosphere that warms our hearts。 However, in the midst of the festivities, it's essential to remember that Christmas isn't just about presents and decorations; it's about the true spirit of giving and the positive impact we can make on the world。 In this article, we'll explore "The Christmas Fix" – a concept that encourages us to go beyond the glitter and rediscover the essence of the holiday season。 The Commercial Christmas Conundrum Over the years, Christmas has evolved into a highly commercialized holiday。 Retailers entice shoppers with extravagant sales, and the media inundates us with advertisements promoting the latest must-have gifts。 While gift-giving is an integral part of the season, it's vital to ask ourselves whether we've lost sight of the true meaning of Christmas in the hustle and bustle of consumerism。 "The Christmas Fix" aims to restore the balance between holiday cheer and genuine acts of kindness。 Giving Back One of the most meaningful ways to embrace "The Christmas Fix" is by giving back to our communities。 There are numerous opportunities to volunteer, donate to charities, or simply lend a helping hand to those in need。 Acts of kindness not only make a positive impact on others but also fill our hearts with joy and gratitude。 Whether it's serving meals at a local shelter, participating in a toy drive, or contributing to a food bank, these actions remind us of the true spirit of Christmas。 Creating Lasting Memories Instead of focusing solely on material gifts, "The Christmas Fix" encourages us to invest in experiences and memories。 Gather your family and friends for festive traditions like baking cookies, decorating the tree, or caroling in the neighborhood。 These moments are more precious than any store-bought present and strengthen the bonds that make the holiday season special。 Supporting Local Businesses While it's easy to get lost in the holiday shopping frenzy, consider supporting local businesses in your community。 By shopping at small, independent stores and markets, you can help bolster the local economy and create a unique shopping experience。 This not only benefits the community but also adds a personal touch to your gift-giving。 Eco-Friendly Celebrations "The Christmas Fix" also extends to the environment。 Embrace eco-friendly practices during the holiday season by reducing waste and making sustainable choices。 Consider using recycled wrapping paper, LED lights, and energy-efficient decorations。 Reducing your environmental footprint is a gift to the planet and future generations。 Spreading Joy Another way to practice "The Christmas Fix" is by spreading joy and positivity。 Send heartfelt messages to loved ones, engage in random acts of kindness, and make an effort to be kinder and more patient in your interactions。 Small gestures of goodwill can brighten someone's day and create a ripple effect of positivity。 Conclusion "The Christmas Fix" is a call to rediscover the essence of the holiday season。 While the allure of presents and festivities is undeniable, it's essential to remember the true spirit of Christmas lies in acts of kindness, community, and the joy of giving。 By embracing this concept, we can create a more meaningful and fulfilling holiday experience for ourselves and those around us。 This Christmas, let's come together to make a positive impact and rekindle the genuine magic of the season。
